Former Auburn running back Stephen Davis says this weekend he's going to settle once and for all who's the best Auburn back. On Sunday his Carolina Panthers meet Carnell Williams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.Davis didn't hesitate when asked who was the best back in Auburn history. He rated Bo Jackson first, himself second and Joe Cribbs third. Carnell wasn't mentioned.
I don't know about you but I love this stuff. Isn't it wonderful that Auburn has Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, Stephen Davis and Rudy Johnson all as feature backs in the NFL?
Don't forget to vote in this week's poll (on the right) that asks who is Auburn's best running back of the past 25 years (excluding Jackson). Right now it's a landslide for Williams. Davis hopes to settle it for real on Sunday.
