BamaMag.com is reporting that earlier today the database on the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department web site showed an arrest for Alabama back-up quarterback John Parker Wilson. It appears now that the Sheriff's Department has removed Wilson's name from its database.
According to the report, Wilson was arrested at 2:40 a.m. in Northport, Alabama for driving under the influence. John Parker Wilson is widely believed to be the heir apparent to Tide starter Brodie Croyle.
Coming out of Hoover High School, Wilson was a highly touted two-sport athlete who threw for 3,821 yards his senior season to set the Alabama state high school record for yards thrown in a season. The record was previously held by current Alabama starter Brodie Croyle.
