Here's a good post made by ESPN Game Day's Kirk Herbstreit. He says that if Auburn avoids turnovers they should win the game Saturday at LSU...Let's hope so...Here's the rest of the comments he made on ESPN.com's Insider...
"They were the Rodney Dangerfield of college football in 2004, and that has carried over into 2005. Talk about a team playing with a chip on its shoulder. Tommy Tuberville's team is dangerous right now. I know Auburn resents the fact that the college football community has ignored it most of this year. I know that going into the season the Tigers were perplexed as to why they were ranked so low (16th in the preseason AP poll) when they had gone 13-0 in 2004 and returned 12 starters, with a majority of their defense coming back. I realize Auburn lost its entire backfield to the NFL, but this still is a great defensive team with a young offense that has gained a lot of experience. The Tigers have a great opportunity on a national stage Saturday night at LSU to prove to people that they are alive and kicking. Auburn's defense will keep the team in this game. Whether Auburn gets out of Tiger Stadium with a win will depend on how QB Brandon Cox plays. If he avoids silly turnovers, then Auburn will win."
