Here's a great read from the Birmingham News about the two divisions in the SEC. It's hard to believe that South Carolina and Arkansas have been in the conference nearly 15 years. It's a rather lengthy article (I recommend printing it) about how the two divisions were created and how they've fared.They are remarkably close in wins. Despite the emergence of Florida and Tennessee in the early 1990's, the Western Division still has a better winning percentage than the East ( .574 to .565) and a better overall conference record.
